KUHIO BEACH HULA SHOW
2025 UPDATE
The Kuhio Beach Hula show is presented every Saturday at 6:30-7:30, except for September 13 (Fiji Concert 30,00 people), September 20 (Aloha Festvals block party) and October 18 (Pride Parade) when Kalakaua is closed to traffic.

A Non-Profit project of the Waikiki Improvement Association.
KUHIO BEACH HULA SHOW LOCATION
The free Kuhio Beach Hula Show takes place on the only authentic pa hula, or hula mound, in Waikiki, which was blessed in a traditional Hawaiian ceremony that dedicated it solely to the presentation of Hawaiian hula. There is a large grass seating area, oceanside of the hula mound itself, the whole venue being defined by a lava rock wall. You can also watch from the beach. The venue is located on the beach diagonally across Kalakaua Ave. from the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa at Uluniu Ave. Reasonable paid parking, credit cards accepted, is available at the Honolulu Zoo on Kapahulu Ave. at Kalakaua Ave. There are no shows when there are parades or street fairs that block the hula mound.
